Jakarta – PT Dana Syariah Indonesia (Danasyariah) reaffirms its commitment to supporting social initiatives and community welfare by distributing social donations through the company's infaq and zakat funds. In this program, Danasyariah partners with Rumah Zakat to channel aid to those in need.
Of the total funds distributed, 30% is allocated to programs managed directly by Rumah Zakat, while the remaining 70% is distributed to various social institutions recommended by Danasyariah. The donation distribution is focused during the holy month of Ramadan to maximize its impact and enliven the sacred month.
The following are some of the institutions and social programs that benefit from this initiative:
1. Construction of Madrasah Diniyah Darurrahman – Managed by Yayasan Darurrahman Ciganjur.
2. Musawarah Social Program – Donations for Rumah Qur’an and a rice-sharing program.
3. Fath Qurani Islamic Boarding School – Managed by Yayasan Fath Peduli Qur’ani.
4. Mosque Prosperity Program – In collaboration with Pimpinan Daerah Persatuan Islam (Persis) Depok, donations were distributed to six mosques and one mushola: Masjid Alghifari, Masjid Abdurrahman Bina Auladi, Masjid Al Ma'mun, Masjid Baiturrahmah, Masjid Al Amaliyah, and Mushola Luqmanussholihin.
5. Eid Packages for the Underprivileged & Orphans – Supported by Yayasan Pemuda Hijrah and Pesan-Trend under the guidance of Ustadz Hanan Attaki.
6. Educational Donations for PAUD Melati 3 – A free early childhood education program for orphans and underprivileged children, managed by Yayasan Pendidikan Putra Putri Melati (YADIKPATI).
7. Mass Circumcision Social Program – Organized by Yayasan Harapan Bangsa Indonesia Madani.
Danasyariah’s CEO, Taufiq Aljufri, emphasized that this program is part of the company’s corporate social responsibility to support education, welfare, and community empowerment in line with Sharia economic principles.
"We hope this assistance can provide long-term benefits for the community, particularly in improving access to education and social welfare. The funds distributed come from Danasyariah’s infaq and zakat collected last year," he stated.
