Jakarta — PT Dana Syariah Indonesia (Danasyariah) reaffirmed its commitment to enhancing Islamic financial literacy by organizing a seminar titled "Tenang Pensiun: Empowered, Financially Smart & Productive Retirement", held on Wednesday (June 25) at Mercure Bandung City Center.
The event was attended by more than 50 participants from various institutions and companies in Bandung, consisting of individuals preparing for retirement as well as those who have already entered retirement. The seminar aimed to provide comprehensive insights into managing retirement funds wisely, securely, and in accordance with sharia principles, while also encouraging participants to remain productive and empowered during their retirement years.
Serving as the keynote speaker was Salihuddin, CFP, IFP, CPBC, a certified financial planner and financial planning trainer, who delivered two main sessions. The first session focused on understanding the Fundamentals of Retirement Activity, covering the development of a prosperous retirement mindset, identifying personal potential, and designing meaningful and productive post-retirement activities.
The second session highlighted Post-Retirement Financial Planning, which included topics such as asset management, cash flow strategies to avoid the risk of running out of funds, and an introduction to safe and profitable sharia-based investment instruments.
Complementing the educational sessions, the seminar also featured a presentation by Salman Alfarisie, Head of Marketing and Strategic Sales Division at Danasyariah. In his presentation, Salman introduced Danasyariah’s sharia-based funding concept through its fintech peer-to-peer (P2P) financing platform. This scheme serves as an alternative solution for retirees to continue earning passive income by financing secured, collateral-backed property projects with competitive returns.
The event was met with high enthusiasm from the participants, with several attendees immediately trying out the funding platform on-site as a sign of their trust in Danasyariah’s solutions.
This seminar is part of Danasyariah’s ongoing Islamic financial literacy programs held consistently across various cities in Indonesia. Through this initiative, Danasyariah continues to expand the reach of Islamic financial literacy and inclusion, particularly among the retirement segment, to support a prosperous, independent, and productive post-retirement life.
